The city of New Orleans has always been appealing to me. The food, the culture, the people- there really is nothing like it. On top of that, I was looking for a smaller school where the professors were invested in what they taught. Touring Tulane and speaking to the students made me realize everyone here is passionate about something, professors and students alike. I am so happy to have joined the Tulane community and become involved in the things I am passionate about.
Freret Street Fest! The street intersects with Tulane's campus and has plenty of good food vendors, music, and even a dog shelter that shows off their pups at the festival!
I really enjoyed Professor Koplitz who taught General Chemistry II. She was so caring and pretty successfully learned the names of over seventy people from her lecture.
Audubon Park is just across the street and it is a beautiful place to run, walk, and picnic. Also, Mojo and Zotz are great coffee shops to study at and they're not far from campus.
