Tour Guide at Tulane University
Class of 2026
Hometown: New Orleans, LA
Major: International Relations
Secondary Major: Music
Minor: Strategy Leadership & Analytics (SLAM)
One of my favorite professors is Dr. Christina Kiel. She’s a former German diplomat who teaches international relations classes, which is my major, so I’ve learned much from her. I took her Politics of Eurovision class, which explores cultural diplomacy, soft power, and how music intersects with international politics. As a music double major, it felt like my two worlds colliding in the best way.
I grew up in New Orleans and love the city’s culture, music, community, and the way Tulane interacts with the city. I’ve always known Tulane as a school that offers strong academic resources and genuinely supports its students. It felt like the right place to grow both personally and professionally while exploring my passions and staying connected to the city I love.
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is my favorite! It highlights both mainstream and local artists, and offers amazing opportunities to explore New Orleans food and culture.
I love the Marigny and Bywater, especially near Crescent Park. The music, murals, and good food make the city feel alive.
