I chose Tulane because I wanted to form a complex relationship with my university and grow as much as possible as an undergraduate. The academic flexibility, opportunity-filled city, and robust student life at Tulane trounced other universities I was considering. Ultimately, I wanted to jump out of the isolated world of my lovely little hometown, and Tulane was a place I could see myself thriving.

There are the classic examples: the Fly, Oak Street, Magazine Street, the Quarter. These are certainly up there. My favorites, however, would have to be little nooks and crannies of St. Claude, City Park, and the uptown railroad
