I chose Tulane because...

I chose Tulane because I don't think I'd get an academically rigorous university at the same time as being in a fun and unique city anywhere else! I'm sort of an overachiever - like many others here - but I also enjoy activities that does not involve the library. In New Orleans, the choices for fun are endless!

My favorite spots in New Orleans are...

I love caffeinated beverages, so Trumpet & Drum is a winner for me. Their iced caramel latte almost beats PJs! I'm also somewhat of a cinephile, and I am absolutely obsessed with the Prytania theater uptown. And, of course, Audobon Park holds a special place in my heart. It's the most gorgeous place to get a workout in or just go for a stroll.

My favorite NOLA festival is...

I really like Crawfest! It's so much fun, with music and tons of foodtrucks, and, obviously, delicious crawfish!

Favorite Tulane class/professor...

Sex, Power & Culture with Dr. Cleary! I took this class my first semester at Tulane, and I learned SO much.
