I chose Tulane because...
I was drawn to not only to the city of New Orleans but I was also drawn to Tulane because of its' emphasis on public service. I love to volunteer and give back to the community and I've had the honor to be able to do 4 service learning opportunities the past 3 years!
My favorite NOLA festival is...
My favorite NOLA festival has to be Jazz Fest. I love being able to listen to all kinds of music that remind me of everything I love about New Orleans. The food is also top tier and I wait all year just to have the Crawfish Mac n Cheese from Crawfish Monica!
My favorite spots in New Orleans are...
Audubon Park to take a walk with my friends or to just spend the day outside and do work. I also love the Batture which is a new spot near Audubon park that has food trucks and games you can play on the river. I love going with my friends to watch the sunset and play card games together!
Favorite Tulane class/professor...
One of my favorite classes at Tulane was my Spanish class with Dr. Carolina Caballero. She reminded me of my love for the Spanish language and inspired me to add a Latin American Studies minor!
