My favorite spots in New Orleans is anywhere that serves food.
Oak Street Po-Boy Festival
I chose Tulane because from the moment I stepped foot on campus I could feel it was a place where I would thrive. As a prospective student I had advisors and professors already willing to be involved in the success of my academic career. It's also true that they say there is no place like NOLA. From the food to the music to the people, this city and school cannot be beat.
My favorite tulane class was Product and Experimental Design taught by Dr. Brown and Dr. Murfee of the Biomedical Engineering department. Here we were guided in teams through the design process, and two years later my team has obtained provisional patents on our device, won Tulane's Novel Technology challenge, and are continuing to iterate the technology with help from Tulane and the New Orleans Bioinnovation Center.
