My favorite NOLA festival is Book-fest! It was amazing to have so many amazing authors on campus all at one time. You have to rare opportunity to go and see famous authors speak, or get your book signed, (for free!), and its right at your doorstep.
My favorite class that I have taken at Tulane was Intro to Medical Ethics! I loved that the content keep me constantly thinking...there is really no right answer! The professor is super cool, too. If you are considering the pre-med track, this class is a fun supplemental that will challenge your thought.
In New Orleans, I love to eat at Acme Oyster Bar in the French Quarter, Sweet Saint Ice Creamery for their lavender ice cream, and the House of Blues NOLA for cheap and awesome concerts!
I picked Tulane because of the flexibility to dive into many different subjects that I am interested in. The small class sizes make it feel like a close-knit group, and the community is super welcoming, making it easy to connect and feel at home, able to engage with peers in so many ways.
