I took the seminar Perspectives on Empire with Menaka Philips, it was on everything from colonialism to international power to human rights and the theoretical ideologies behind these things. The class had 6 people and was an incredible and hands on experience in my education.

City bark (the dog park in city park), the levee for running, every Vietnamese restaurant (especially the cheaper ones) and St. Claude in the Bywater.
I wanted a medium sized and service oriented school in a new and exciting city. When I visited and met students here, I instantly felt attachment to the idea of hanging out along the Mississippi river on Friday nights, learning from world class professors and becoming part of this vibrant community from all over.
