My favorite spots in New Orleans have to be the French Quarter for the people watching and City Park for the immaculate natural landscape.

My favorite class at Tulane has been my Tides course, For The Love of New Orleans, analyzing the city from a sustainability standpoint learning about unique ecological challenges facing the Louisiana Wetland Biome. The professor, Doctor Cheruiyot, has been beyond welcoming offering us with individual opportunities to meet and learn about the city based on our interests.

My favorite NOLA festival is Voodoo Fest during Halloween, there is just nothing else like seeing the entire city dress up in costume!
