I chose Tulane because...

I chose Tulane because I knew that as a student here, I would have the opportunity to grow both inside and outside of the classroom. Balancing success academically with involvement on campus and within the New Orleans community is a priority of Tulane students, faculty, and staff. This unique balance is something that I was searching for throughout the college application process, and I wholeheartedly believe that no where does it as well as Tulane. Now that I am on campus, I feel this support and collaboration everywhere. I am continuously shown new ways how the university, city, and community can help me grow in all capacities and I have loved being here everyday since moving in.

My favorite class was Comparative Politics with Michael Pickering. I came in to Tulane undecided and immediately knew from taking this class that I had to major in Political Science.
