Gender & Society (SOCI 1040) with Professor Starr! Professor Starr is so well versed in gender literature and her class is fast paced but thoroughly interesting. I also loved Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES 3601) with Dr. Drury and Dr. LeBlanc! It's a class that combines psychology, public health, parenting, neuroscience, social work, and sociology to learn about how trauma affects children and how our bodies process these effects in the long term.
Gasa Gasa, Audobon Park, Buffalo Exchange, La Petite Grocery, Croissant D'Or, Magazine St, Garden District, Domilise's Po Boys, and Red White and Blue Thrift in Metairie.
What first attracted me to Tulane was its Public Health undergraduate program, study abroad opportunities, and the ability to be somewhere that is rich with culture and art. In both New Orleans and Los Angeles (my home town) diversity is a hallmark of the city. Tulane and its students understand that having a city rich with different cultural histories is the best part about where you live and I really felt that when I stepped on campus.
The Gay Easter Parade in the French Quarter! It's incredible.
