Tour Guide at Tulane University
Class of 2021
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Major: Public Health
Minor: International Development
I chose Tulane because it had everything that I was looking for in college. The campus is a perfect size, definitely walkable, there's the right amount of students where you don't know everyone, but you will still see a friend as you walk to class, and it is in New Orleans! Tulane had the major that I wanted, Public Health, and has so many resources available that I can use to succeed while I am a student here.
My favorite spots in New Orleans are Audubon Park and Studio BE. Audubon Park is peaceful, relaxing, and a great place to be when you want to have a moment to admire nature. Studio BE is full of beautiful artwork with such a powerful message behind it all.
My favorite NOLA festival is Beignet Fest because the food is delicious, but it is also an incredible time where you can spend time with friends without being overwhelmed with a large crowd of people. Beignet Fest is hands down the best festival in New Orleans, right after Tulane's Crawfest of course.
