well I hate to be cliche but definitely Mardi Gras! Families, students, and people from all over come to celebrate and the weekend is so much fun! I love to dress up in funky outfits and make my way down St.Charles attempting to catch beads. Mardi Gras for me is when I truly feel the unique culture and traditions of New Orleans.
Tulane's wonderful academics and activities combined with the wonderful city of New Orleans was a huge win win for me. Tulane offered a type of college experience that I felt I wouldnt be able to recieve anywhere else. I choose Tulane because the moment I stepped on campus I felt like I was home. I saw happy students everywhere I went and truly saw a strong community that I felt anybody could find their place in.
Audubon Park is definitely one of my favorites!! I love going on long runs in the park and then eventually making my way to the Fly. I also love going down to the French Quarter on the weekends to listen to Jazz Music and eat beignets. I also love exploring Mid-City!
Has definitely been either my Film and Literature Spanish class with Professora Miller or Ethics with David Shoemaker. Both classes are obviously completely different but really helped to enrich my academic experience at Tulane and led me to acknowledge what my true passions are moving forward.
