I chose Tulane because...

I was totally down for the whole "no winter" thing. Also, I came to campus and fell in love with the city and people who live here. That environment combined with the academic feel of a university was amazing to me.

My favorite spots in New Orleans are...

Clancy's on Annunciation St. is my faaavorite place to have dinner along with Boswell's in Mid-City and Café du Monde for some beignets! I also love going to the shops on Magazine Street and in the Bywater, near St. Roch Market.

My favorite NOLA festival is...

Southern Decadence takes the cake. The amount of rainbow flags you can squeeze into the French Quarter is truly astounding (the only time I go into the French Quarter).

Favorite Tulane class/professor...

Urban Sociology! I love cities, and the class is taught about how the people inside of them interact with one another and how social spaces are constructed to be the way they are today. Would totally recommend because Professor Diaz is great!
