I chose Tulane because...

I wanted to choose a place where I could receive an education about international development while leaving my mark by volunteering around New Orleans. Tulane has a positive presence in the New Orleans area by providing community service to those in need.

Favorite Tulane class/professor...

Women and Development in Africa with Professor Izabela Steflja. With this course, I was able to volunteer for a summer camp in Nairobi, Kenya through a program offered by Newcomb College Institute.

My favorite spots in New Orleans are...

Louis Armstrong Park, Mississippi River Walk and the dock across from St. Louis Cathedral.
