Class of 2022
Hometown: Marietta, GA
Secondary Major: History
I love Medieval History: 1100-1460 so much because Professor Luongo is so passionate about his field, and he clearly reflects that in his dedication for us to understand the material. He knows that taking in information purely for taking tests is not truly learning, so he is very open-minded about teaching and continuously modifies the course to what the students are most receptive to.
Easy. I am a HUGE foodie! Let's see... Josephine Estelle, Herbsaint, Cochon Butcher, Lebanon Cafe, I could honestly go on and on. I love the food here, everything tastes so good!
This is such a hard one. For Homecoming/Parents Weekend, my family and I went right down Oak Street to the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival. WOW! But.....Voodoo Music and Arts Festival was also amazing. But.... Marley Gras Jerk Chicken Festival was also amazing. New Orleans has so many festivals you really can't choose which is the best!
Tulane offers a unique interdisciplinary opportunity combined with top-level academics that allows me to pursue any path I desire, no matter my major. Additionally, the New Orleans culture is a one of a kind experience that has granted me an invaluable learning opportunity which is unavailable in any other city!
