My favorite tulane class was a Music Business, and my favorite professor is Chris Finney, who is a music producer and entrepreneur!
Mardi Gras (if that counts as a festival). Otherwise Voodoo Fest!
At first I decided to apply to Tulane because of its great academics and New Orleans' warm weather. After I visited, though, I made Tulane my top choice because I fell in love with the campus and the city. I really enjoyed how much green space Tulane's campus has and how close to New Orleans downtown it is. Also, uptown New Orleans is the safest area of the city! In addition, I also fell in love with New Orleans due to its great culinary, its musical culture, its warm weather, and its southern hospitality! Another big factor is that New Orleans also celebrates Carnival (Mardi Gras), like we do in my hometown- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!
