I valued academic flexibility, as I was very undecided at the time. Tulane allowed me to take classes in any field I chose and I thought this was an awesome way to explore my numerous interests.

I took a class called The Human Body with Dr Craig Flanagan in my first semester a Tulane and loved it so much that it changed the course of my whole academic journey! I knew from then on that whatever I studied would have to relate to human biology.
