I loved the environment! When I visited campus I genuinely felt that people were happy to be there and loved where they learned. I also loved that there are endless activities to do on and off campus. There are so many restaurants on Maple and Freret, as well as so much to explore in the French Quarter and even on Magazine; I also loved how committed Tulane was to forming opportunities for students to have fun on campus through things like movie nights and drag brunches.
My favorite class so far is Adolescent Psychology with Professor Fabian. She is such an amazing, engaging lecturer that the class period flies by. I also find the content really interesting.
My favorite NOLA festival is Mardi Gras, and specifically Krewe de Muses. It was on the first night of my first Mardi Gras experience and I loved it. It was so much fun to see Tulane students unite off campus to engage in a huge part of New Orleans culture.
One of my favorite spots in New Orleans is Jackson Square. I love that whenever I'm in that area I can always here beautiful Jazz music playing, and ever since I took a ghost tour during my first visit, I have so many random pieces of knowledge about it.
