The Irish Channel Parade! (Lots of free food, and lots of free hugs. It would have sounded a lot more appealing prior to COVID-19.)
The French Market, the New Orleans Jazz Museum, Southern Repertory Theatre, Le Petit Theatre, the Audubon Aquarium, or ANYWHERE along the riverwalk! For food, you can't beat Katie's swamp fries in mid city, Parkway Bakery's po'boys, or Central Grocery's muffulettas.
