My favorite NOLA festival is and has always been Jazz Fest. I have been going since I was an infant.
I chose Tulane because...
I chose Tulane because of my scholarship program the Posse Foundation, which sent 10 kids from the New Orleans area to Tulane while supporting the foundations of friendship and community. Having the opportunity to stay close to my support system at home and also having the unlimited opportunities Tulane offers. On college tours I often found myself seeking answers I knew Tulane offered at other schools, leading me to chose Tulane as it gave me everything I was looking for: good education, opportunities for internships (athletic training), community service aspects (Service Learning), flexibility to grow in education (having access to all Tulane schools and encouraging multiple disciplines), and a welcoming/lively community.
