Audubon Park - a great place near campus to walk the loop with friends! Gyu-Kaku - a Japanese restaurant downtown with amazing chicken garlic noodles. New Orleans Museum of Art - A really interesting art museum and sculpture garden, The giant safety pin in the sculpture garden is potentially my favourite object.

I chose Tulane because...

The architecture programme is phenomenal, the weather is similar to home, and the city is lively (not to mention how good the food is). There's plenty to do and see even if, like me, you completely ignore the party scene.

Favorite Tulane class/professor...

Intro to Architecture taught by Scott Bernhard. It's an incredibly fun class that I'll probably remember for my whole career. Tons of information combined with imagery and a witty sense of humour made that class extremely effective.
