Favorite Tulane class/professor...

My favorite Tulane class so far has been my education classes with a practicum. For the practicum component I have been able to work in 5 different elementary charter schools in New Orleans. This has opened my eyes to the education system in Louisiana and has given me excellent experience as I plan to go to graduate school after graduating.

I chose Tulane because...

I visited 40 schools in the Northeast, arriving on Tulane's campus was a breath of fresh air. The students are happy, determined and friendly. The city is beautiful, full of culture, as well as full of life. The academics are strong, focused, and full of professors willing to take time to help you. Tulane is my perfect fit.

My favorite NOLA festival is...

Mardi Gras is easily my favorite festival in NOLA. The whole city shuts down to celebrate this holiday and spend time together with family and friends. I love going to the parades and seeing how much talent and culture is shown off in the city!!!

My favorite spots in New Orleans are...

The Fly is one of my favorite places in NOLA; Looking onto the Mississippi river and relaxing on the grass in the sun I have had such amazing experiences there. Another of my favorite spots is Audubon Park, I love going on walks and runs through the park and seeing the beauty of nature in the middle of a city. Lastly, I love the food culture in New Orleans, I have had the best food of my life exploring different restaurants in the city.
