I chose Tulane because...

I had the chance to study anywhere in the country, and I wanted to be somewhere that was a step out of my comfort zone. New Orleans is one of the best cities in the world and has given me opportunities while at Tulane that I couldn't get anywhere else. Students are really service minded as well, which is the type of person I wanted to surround myself with.

Favorite Tulane class/professor...

My favorite Tulane class was "The Greek Way of Death"...it made we want to minor in classics! My favorite professors are Professer Emmerson, who is in the classics department, and Dr. Hoerger, whose psycho-oncology research lab I work in.

My favorite spots in New Orleans are...

I love getting off campus to study when I can, so I have found a couple coffee shops just a bike ride away that I go to when I want to change up my study area. Mojo, Rue de la Course, and French Truck Coffee are some of my faves!

My favorite NOLA festival is...

Jazzfest! With the amazing food and killer music, the two weekends of Jazzfest couldn't get any better.
