I love any place in New Orleans that has food! I love going to Magazine street and enjoying all the amazing variety of restaurants. I also love Creole Creamery. It is definitely a place I recommend to visitors and is definitely a place I personally take guests. Even though food is amazing, having a place like Audubon Park so close to campus is great. Photoshoots are always fun there, but just sitting by the water and having some alone time is always amazing.
My favorite professor is Professor is Jane Guild. I have had the privilege of being her student for all four years as we work one on one in my voice lessons. She has a vested interest in her students and is the advisor to NJBeats, the a cappella group I founded. Her kindness and dedication has helped me excel as a singer, as well as develop my organization into such a success.
My favorite festival is Mardi Gras! While there so are many other amazing festivals that happen, Mardi Gras is something that fully encompasses what New Orleans is about and allows the whole city to come together to celebrate.
I wanted a school that had a lot of flexibility. Tulane offers so many opportunities for students who want to explore all their interests. The campus is beautiful and the weather is incomparable. The perfect sized student body makes up a community filled with passionate and driven young adults who want to make a change in the world. Students are so happy to be here and are extremely eager to explore themselves and NOLA.
